Where are you?
We are located just outside of Washington, PA, on Route 18 South. (Check out the map below for directions.) Bethel is the red brick church at the top of the hill—you can’t miss us! We have plenty of parking right beside the church.
What time do services start?
Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:30 am. We have Sunday School for all ages (K-12, and adult) beginning at 9:30. We also have a contemporary, mid-week service on Wednesday at 7:00pm.
How formally should I dress, and what is worship like?
Worship is relaxed, but reverent. Come as you are! In our service we sing a mix of traditional hymns and some more contemporary songs. Our worship is a time to rejoice in the glory of God's grace.
Is there somewhere for my kids to go?Yes! We have a staffed nursery (beginning at 9:30) for the younger ones and Junior Church (beginning after the Childrens' Message) for the older ones.
Can I come to a Sunday School class?
Yes! We welcome you to attend any one of our Sunday School offerings. Our student groupings are: 3-5 years-old, 1st-3rd grade, 4th-6th, 7th-8th, senior high, and adult. You can start coming at any point, as frequently or infrequently as you are able. To see what your options are, check out the "What We Are Studying" page.
Do you have handicapped parking?
We have several handicapped parking spots with accessible entrance to the sanctuary on the side of our building adjacent to Bethel Church Road (the right hand side if you are looking at the front of the building).
What’s this I hear about free breakfast?
It’s true—the fourth Sunday of each month we host a free breakfast during our Sunday School hour. This is open to anyone, and is a great time to fellowship while we enjoy some free coffee and excellent food.
What if I can't make it to Sunday morning worship, but want to be a part of things?
We're happy to help you connect in whatever way works for you. For those who cannot come on Sunday, we have a mid-week service on Wednesday nights (see our Services page). If you can't make it at all, but would like to speak with Pastor Josh, just drop him an email (joshudanielbrown@gmail.com). He is happy to call or visit.
